BANSKO: LATEST UPDATE 2005/06

This winter Bansko will be extremely shiny and polished. Construction workers are working 24 hours seven days a week to complete the buildings before the start of the new season. Everyone is preparing for the new season.
This winter tourists will have the chance to experience a five star winter holiday in “Kempinski Grand Arena”!
There won’t be many changes in the ski zone of Bansko. No new pistes or lifts are expected. The pistes are now being prepared and refreshed for the new season. The concessionaire has thought about the comfort of the tourists. Nice skiing conditions are guaranteed by 30 snow cannons Techno Alpine. The total length of the ski pistes is 56 kilometers.
The concessionaire Ulen provides new opportunities for the skiers, for the snowboarders, for the extreme sports, biathlon and cross- country skiing. Some of the pistes offer wonderful conditions for night skiing, which is available for everyone from 18.00 until 22.00
The snowboarders will enjoy the biggest half- pipe and “fun-park” zone on the Balkan Peninsula.
An ice ring will surprise the skate lovers.

Many surprises are waiting for the tourists for the opening of the new season. The tourists will be pampered with SPA and massages. Those who want to experience something different and exciting can try winter horseback riding.

Parents will have the chance to leave their kind in the good hands of the local kindergarten. Children will have a lot of fun in “the junior club”!
