The round of the FIS World Ski Cup for men in Bansko gave a chance to Dobrinishte to presents its hidden beauty and excellent ski terrains for keen skiers. Enchanted by the skills of Mario Matt and Christof Innerhofer I took my skies and headed to Dobrinishte.

The fresh snow considerably improved the skiing conditions in the resort right on time. The ski slopes were excellently maintained and I was happy to test every single trace in the resort. The mountain here is somehow different, extremely beautiful and very hospitable. The views will leave you breathless as both the Rila and Rhodope mountain can be observed from the lift to Bezbog chalet – the top of the Dobrinishte ski zone.

People who choose to ski here are the coolest people you can meet in the mountain. As you may presume some of them are really crazy. Good skiers and snowboarders often chose to get off the beaten track and try some freestyle in the fresh virgin snow. Dobrinishtre ski zone definitely offers lots of safe off piste terrains, just watch out for the thees in the forest.
