Location: Winslow Highland (ex. Mountain Residence 4 complex) is a member of the apartment hotel chain Mountain Residences. Its excellent location, only 70 meters away from the ski lift makes it one of the most attractive hotels in Bansko. Just off the main Pirin Street and close to pubs and other entertainment.
The distance form Sofia to Bansko is approximately 160 km. Once entering Bansko you have to get onto the main Glazne Str, drive up through all traffic lights, pass Kempinski and 50 meters later see Mountain Residence 4 sign on the left.

I had only two issues ...

I had only two issues one is 10 days before the reservation date I had cancelled reservation or one person out of four. The hotel is not informed about this situation and I haven't been able to get my nmoney back for that one person.
The second negativ thing was the television in the room. We had not been able to open it and the hotel staff had not been able to fix it for four days.
Beside I am happy with eveything. I think you have a good organization.

We got an excellent assistance from Indy representative.
Comparing to Mont Blanc Apts we stayed at last year Winslow Highland apts has poorer kitchen equipment.
Hotel staff is pretty unwilling to assist especially when we found ourselves at an abnormal situation (our daughter broke the leg). We could not send a fax from hotel,
we were refused at the reception to call a taxi and were forced to look for our own ways to handle the situation.

Too many accomodation places reported to the infrastructure for skiing.I waited between 45 and 120 minutes at the gondola station.At 12 practicaly all the slopes were devastated and hard to use for those with less experience or with "thin"legs.
Probably this two problems was caused also by the period I choose-childrens holliday.Next time I will be more carefully when I will choose the period for visiting Bansko.

We enjoyed this hotel, especially because it is very close to the sky cabin. The spa services are ok – we most enjoyed the massage. As a minus, the water pressure is very low in the evening, being impossible to use the shower (we were at the third floor). In the rest, I recommend the hotel.

Very, very nice. For a small inconvenience(a wet sofa that was needed to be changed) the staff of the hotel brought us a bottle of wine and two glasses. Nice gesture!
