Borovets Expects to be 100% Booked Borovets mountain resort management expects the occupation of the hotels in the complex to reach 100 per cent in the 2007/2008 winter season. More than 82 per cent of the preliminary bookings in the resort were made by foreign tour-operators, mainly from the UK. The Future of Vitosha The entire lift net on Vitosha will be reconstructed by a company, closely related to Ulen, which maintains the ski zone in Bansko. One lift card will be used for all of the lifts in Vitosha. Feverish preparations for the “Big Air” in Sofia Part of the loading platform for the Snowboard FIS World Cup Big Air Sofia 2007 was discharged yesterday on “Kniaz Aleksander I Batenberg” Square in Sofia. Snowboard World Cup Big Air is the most important snowboard contest in Bulgaria and Sofia host such an event for the first time. The unique facility is 31 m high, 25 m wide and 100 m long and it was transported from Switzerland. It will be mounted till the 19th of December....
