The ice rink in Bansko has already been working for a month. Although it was not officially opened, the rink officially became one of the favorite places for the guests and the citizens of Bansko. The mayor of Samokov Mr. Angel Nikolov was the first to try the new equipment. The head of the executive company “Total” – Mr. Emil Nikolov also attended the event. The ride to the ridge and back went perfectly well, despite of the strong wind. The equipment was constructed at the end of the last year. The mobile communication company Vivatel have organized “Vivatel Snowboard Tour”, the first amateur snowboard competition in Bulgaria. The contest will take place at “Yulen” in Bansko track on 17th of March and at “Zaeka” (The Rabbit) track in Vitosha on 24 of March.

The mayor of Smolyan and the investor Kiril Asenov signed the contract for the realization of Sports-and-Tourist Center “Perelik”. British investment fund Equest said it investment board has approved the purchase of a stake in the company tapped to expand Bulgarian ski resort Borovets
The fund will acquire a portion of the 75% stake in the project controlled by Bulgarian construction company Glavbolgarstroy in a deal that will make it the majority shareholder.
