A company from Sofia will start the construction works for a brand new civil airport near Gotse Delchev. Two years ago “Krosi Mountain resort” JSC bought 890 decares land plot in the region of the ex-military runway from the Ministry of Defense. The airport is in the region of Musomitsa village. Although the astronomic spring has arrived, it seems that the winter is back in Bulgaria. Borovest ski resort now boasts with up to 220 cm snow cover and it continues to snow. This year Bansko boasts with incredible snow cover in the end of March. At some point the snow reaches 4 metres which promises at least a few more weeks of excellent skiing in the Pirin Mountain.
