Bansko becomes a winter capital on the Balkans
Bansko resort is nominated for a winter capital of the Balkans. This was announced by Blagoi Ralin, head of the BHRA, yesterday in Bansko. Bansko hosted a meeting of the International and Balkan association of hoteliers and restauranteurs.

"Between the Three Mountains" Folklore Festival in Bansko
Bulgaria's mountain resort of Bansko, situated at the foot of the Pirin Mountain (southwestern Bulgaria), opened the summer tourist season’2010.
Over 1,500 amateur ensembles from the Balkans presented traditional songs and dances in this year's edition of "Between the Three Mountains" folklore festival, during the past weekend. Visitors enjoyed songs and dances from Serbia, Macedonia and Greece.

Bulgaria Boasts 3.2% Increase in Winter Tourism Y/Y
During the traditional months for winter tourism in Bulgaria, January and February, the industry had registered a 3.2% growth compared to the same period of 2009.
The data was revealed for the media Saturday by Economy Minister, Traicho Traikov, who said the revenues for the same months in 2010 have been EUR 190 M while Bulgarians spent on vacations abroad EUR 130 M.

Pamporovo presents special summer offers
