Loads of Fresh Powder in the Mountains

Borovets boasted with loads of fresh dump from the weekend. Ski centre Markudjik 1 & 2 offer excellent skiing conditions.

More than 40 cm fresh powder was registered in Bansko for the past 2 days. The winter fiesta in the resort is at its culmination. Bansko welcomes all ski loves with lots of snow at the slopes, beautiful nature, great history and fun in the resort.

More Snow in Bansko and Excellent Skiing Conditions in Bulgaria

Meteorologists forecast a moderate fall of snow in Bansko for the weekend, heaviest on Sat afternoon. Temperatures will be below freezing (max -5°C, min -15°C during the night). Bansko ski centre promises excellent skiing conditions and lots of entertainment for all guests of the resort.

Perfect Snow Cover on Vitosha Mountain

The snow cover on Vitosha Mountain is sufficient and perfect for winter sport activities just above Sofia. The ski centre announced that today “Vitoshko lale”, “Mecha polyana” and the “Green slope” ski pistes are perfectly maintained and will welcome skiers. Every evening from 06.30 PM – 10.00 PM night skiing is available on “Vitoshko Lale” slope in the resort.

Excellent Skiing in Borovets

Borovets mountain resort announced that Markudjik 1A, 2A and 2B, Popangelov (ex. Yastrebets 2), Yastrebets 1 and 3, Martinovi Baraki 2 & 3, Suhar and Sitnyakovo 1, 2 and 3 offer excellent skiing conditions and perfect snow cover.

The resort also offers perfect conditions for night skiing after 5.30PM. All little guests of the resort will be entertained in the children’s park Borokids.

"Stenata" Will Host a FIS Cup Round in Pamporovo on 26 and 27 March 2010

Pamporovo resort will host a round of the FIS cup for special and giant slalom for men and women, as part of the European FIS cup. The event will take place on 26th and 27th March 2010 on the “Stenata” ski slope.
All guests of the resort will be able to observe the competition and meet in person the stars of the ski sports in Europe.
