Another sunny day in Bulgaria. Borovets has a snow cover of about 80 cm. It has been snowing lightly over the whole week here. The temp. today is about zero. As usual in Sundays, the skiers and boarders from Sofia are coming to the resort, so the place is overcrowded. At 10.30 this morning the bottom station of the Gondola had a very big queue, so I decided to try the black slopes opposite hotel Rila. 2003/02/17

After the constant snow fall in Pamporovo over the last days, the resort has 140 cm of snow! All pistes are in perfect condition.
Today the weather is cold and cloudy, the snow is crunching under the skis, it's great!
What else can you do? Come to Pamporovo!

2003/02/01

It snows in Borovets since the last 2 days. It also did not stop to snow today.
I was up in the mountain at 11 am this morning. First did 2 times the Martinovi Baraki pistes, which were very good! Then I did Yastrebets few times. These were OK, especially the powder was perfect! Tried the Markujik 2 later, but it wasn't any good, though there was much snow: there was very thick fog on the top of Markujik, and it was very very cold!
