DEEP SNOW COVERS BANSKO, BOROVETS AND PAMPOROVO

In the afternoon in the mountain regions of South- western Bulgaria will fall snow, and later during the day it will start snowing all over the country.
This was announced by the meteorologist on duty, Orlin Lazarov from NIMH. Clouds will gradually cover the mountains; the high parts will be embraced by the cloud layer and snow will start falling. The snow in the Rilo- Rodopian zone will be heavy.
The snow cover in some of the mountains will reach one meter. Yesterday the snow cover on Maliovitsa reached 65 sm. However the ski season starts on December 17th. The resorts are still not ready with the new rates and the construction works in Bansko still continues.
