FRANZ KLAMMER COMES TO BANSKO

The great skier will open the season on 17th December
One of the greatest skiers of all times will arrive in Bansko for the opening of the season on 17th December, announced the president of the ski federation Tseko Minev.
The Austrian is one of the ski legends, who will make a downhill demonstration along Alberto Tomba piste.
At the moment Bansko offers the only fully equipped piste for speeding disciplines in Bulgaria. If Sofia wins the bid for the Olympics in 2014 the alpine ski will take place in Bansko.
Marc Ghirardelli and the great German Champion Rosi Mittermaier will accompany Klammer.
Marc Ghirardelli has plans for investments in the resort.
The Bulgarian stars will be the World Champion in chess Vesselin Topalov and the coach of the national football team Hristo Stoichkov. He will also try to descend, this time better than the last year.
At the same time the best Bulgarian alpine skier Stefan Georgiev takes 9th and 16th position in the slalom for the FIS rang list in Solda (Italy).
