Journalists from four continents are on the pistes in Bansko
Journalists from four continents will try the slopes in bansko. They are here to participate in the 52th annual meeting of the International Ski Club of the Journalists. The forum is supported by the president of Bulgaria Mr. Georgie Parvanov with the, media partnership of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency. Bulgaria hosts the forum for journalists for a second time after 1985. 20 of the guests that now arrived in Bansko participated in the previous event that took place on Vitosha. Three of the Bulgarian journalists were also among those. Milena Dimitrova, Asen Minchev, Borislav Kosturkov. The youngest participant in the delegation is a 23 year old journalist from Serbia and Montenegro, the oldest is 80 year old representative of the Slovenia team. 210 representatives of the journalists from 33 countries will compete on two disciplines- Giant Slalom and ski- run.The program plans not only sport events, but also a discussion for Bulgaria in the European Union. The journalists will also visit some historical, cultural and natural sightseeing in the southwestern part of Bulgaria- Plovdiv, Rila monastery, Melnik.
