BANSKO AND BOROVETS ARE PRESENTED IN SOUTH KOREA

The head of the tourism agency Mario Al Djebury and the vice head of BOC Svetla Otsetova will present our winter resorts Bansko and Borovets in Seoul. The general assembly of the association of the Olympic committees opened in Seoul.
The Bulgarian delegation is presented by Stefka Kostadinova, the general secretary Belcho Goranov, the ski legend Peter Popangelov and representatives of the private and public sector.
The main goal is to present the fastest developing sport destinations in Eastern Europe. Apart from that, Bansko and Borovets are listed in the Bulgarian candidature for the Winter Olympic 2014.
“The assembly is a great opportunity for us to meet specialists with experience. We hope to receive useful information for the organization of important sport competitions. This will help us for the strategy for Sofia 2014”, said Otsetova. Tomorrows she will lead a lecture before 100 representatives of sport federations from all over the world.
Stefka Kostadinova came to agreement with the committee for Olympic solidarity in IOC for scholarship for 15 Bulgarian sportsmen. The funds will be used for the preparation before the summer Olympics in 2008 in Beijing.
The IOC announced that things are getting better for Bulgaria at the moment and it is high time that BOC becomes part of the Olympic family again.
