Sofia Candidature for 2014 Winter Olympic Games will be Discussed at Sofia Sport Expo
Sofia's candidature for the Olympics will be one of the themes for discussion at the upcoming exposition “Sofia Sport Expo”, which is going to be held from June,7th to June,10th in the National Palace of Culture in the capital.
Boiko Borisov, municipal of Sofia, Vesela Lecheva- director of the National Youth Sport Association, Stefka Kostadinova- director of the Bulgarian Olympics Committee and Mario El Djebouri- president of Bulgarian Tourism Agency are officially invited to open the first of a kind sport expo in Bulgaria.
The main goals of the forum include presentation of Bulgarian opportunities for sport, recreation and entertainment and the sport tourism in Bulgaria. The other two themes for discussion, which are part of the conference program “Infrastructure Development Opportunities” are the opportunities for private investments in the national and sport infrastructure, as well as the sport opportunities in Bulgaria as factor of tourism development.
Over 20 companies and tour agents will present their products and services, among which extreme emotions, off-road, motorcycling, deep-sea world, sport equipment, spa, sport and fitness facilities are included.
The expo is a joint initiative of the Bulgarian Forum for Economy and the National Palace of Culture.
Official partners of the event are: Sofia municipal, National Youth Sport Association, Bulgarian Tourism Agency, Bulgarian Olympics Committee, the “Sofia-2014” Olympic Games candidature committee and First Investment Bank.
The entrance for the expo is free of charge. Attractive games and rewards are provided for the public- 1000 football balls will be given out. For the journalists a special darts tournament will be organized.
