The ski tracks will be for beginners, intermediates and professionals. The ski centre will be served by two, three and six seat lifts and a cabin lift. The lifts will be able to serve 1 400 skiers per hour.
The funds for the investment will be provided by Prima Invest LTD and the Bullgarian- American credit bank. Most of the needed materials and facilities, produced by Italian "Liner Poma" Company are already supplied. The ski centre will be able to host ski competitions, according to the Eurepean standards.
The first part of the project, starting today is supposed to be completed by the end of the year. The implementation of it will cost three million Euro.
The experts expect “Kartala” ski centre to start receiving and serving tourists during the coming skiers season. Once the resort gets up running it would quick turn into a major tourist destination.
