Mountain rescue service announced hot lines in case of accidents in the mountain: +359 887100241, +359 749 88131.

The local authorities banned the traffic of heavy machines through the Predela pass during weekends and holidays, to provide easy access to the world famous ski resort Bansko.

10 cm fresh powder dumped for the last 24 hours in Bansko. The snow cover on the slopes in Bansko now reached 20 cm. The snow is still falling in the mountains and the whether is foggy.

The official opening of the ski season in Bansko will take place on 29th November 2008. This year Hanni and Andreas Wenzel, the world downhill champion Harti Weirather, the Italian ski legend Gustavo Thoeni, and of course Marc Ghirardelli – the biggest fen of Bansko will attend the event.
