...Yes,Cigov Chark is excellent place for rest and recreation, but in the summer...condition for ski is no good,it's to warm...and the snow disappear... This is the real reason that the ski slope is closed... ...but in another side/Batak like/...20-22km far away is situated another beautiful ski resort-Saint Konstantin/1400 above sea level/,the drop between C.Chark and S.Konstantin is almost 400m...this is the reason that the condition for ski and snowboard is better than C.Chark...and there is 3 ski slopes/for beginner and mid level is very, very good/...and ski-school'Favorit'...

Fantastic place just to visit. Ski slope is about a kilometer long and is not really a chalenging one. Good for beginners & early intermidiates. Negative part of the whole thing is that the staff servicing the place is not very friendly one but hopefully that will change!

Tsigov Chark is an area not well known to the British tourists, but they are missing out! The lake and surrounding area is beautiful and the area is full of historical and natural places of interest, as well as the ski resort of course. The town of Batak 3 miles away is very interesting and the church is beautiful. Skiing here is much cheaper than in the 3 big resorts.
