UZANA A SNOW ROMANCE RIGHT IN THE HEART OF BULGARIA

It is the middle of March and we- Bulgariski.com team went to check out what is going on in Uzana- right in the Geografic center of Bulgaria. And YES it definitely feels like we' are just as we are in the heart of this charming and beautiful country. This is a sight that leave the traveller breathless.

Uzana is a wide alp right on the top of the mountain. It is just 1250 meters above the sea level, but the snow cover is just perfect for a good downhill down the steepest slope in the site. It is 1000 meters long and is served by a 950 meter long drag lift.
It was Friday and the just a few skiers were here, however the party is just about to burst the next day- Saturday, when everyone will come! It is like a hush before the storm.
The snow is silently falling and the sky is a bit grey.

One thing can be said for sure- Uzana is just perfect for beginners. Numerous small ski slopes are offering perfect skiing conditions for the snow sport. The slops are busy mainly during the weekends.

However the moment you get up on the alp you can feel that the site is extraordinary. Extremely beautiful nature and favourable climate during all seasons. The site is situated right in the heart of Bulgaria. Marvellous oak trees are surrounding the alp.
Now during the winter it is covered with heavy snow carpet and just the bended fir threes are jutting out like watch- towers surrounding the meadow in circle protecting the site.

The road that leads us to the resort site is fenced with high fir threes bending from the heavy snow. The winter season in the site lasts until the end of March as it is just 1250 meters above the sea level.
It was Friday and everyone was heading up to the mountain to spend the weekend among this incredible nature. The party is just about to begin.
Just a few hours before dinner no one would tell that nights are so wild!

Our team spend the night in hotel Prima S which is let's say the best Hotel in the site and definitely recommend it.
The service is just perfect, the food is fresh and delicious, but the cherry on the top of the cake are Vlado and Tsetso! They can sing all night long, and keep the party alive!

The show is what makes the resort so unique.
And the show never stops. The party right in the centre of Bulgaria just never stops. Numerous activities are offered by the local enterprisers.
Each season has its own charm- Winter- magnificent white and quiet. The skiers are occupying the site as it offers cheap and perfect skiing conditions for beginners.

Spring- purple crocus are covering the alp like a huge carpet. The air is fresh and cool. The beech threes are just coming into leafs. Numerous hiking tours are offered to tourists.

Summer- Open air parties and barbecues are entertaining the guests of the resort. An open air swimming pool completes the atmosphere.

Autumn is just impossible to be described in words. One thing is known for sure foliage is very colourful and inspiring.
