RIBARITSA
Location: Ribaritsa village is situated 600 metres above the sea level, at the foot of Stara Planina Mountain Range. The village is located 12 km away from the town of Teteven and 128 km away from Sofia. Ribaritsa is spread along Beli Vit River coast and thus is a perfect place for holidays, far away from the city.
Skiing: Berkina Mogila site, near ribaritsa offers a 1000 metres long ski slope, serviced by a "Pomagalski" drag lift. This is the only ski slope in Bulgaria, offering summer skiing on grass.
Ecotourism: The resort village of Ribaritsa offers excellent opportunities fro eco tourism. Tourists can see working water mills, “rakia” distillers and small craftsmanship workshops. The water of the river is mountain clear, the air is fresh and the nature uniquely beautiful. The biosphere preserve “Tsarichna”, as well as “Boatin” and “Goat’s Wall” preserves are pretty close. Ribaritsa is a starting point to many eco routes.
