LIFTS OF CHEPELARE

Working time of the lift: 8 am till 4.30 pm

Available to the fans of winter sports is a brand new modern hisgh speed quad lift with a capacity of 2000 per hour. It connects the town of Chepelare with the Mechi Chal peak in just 9 minutes, at a 2700 meters distance. The lift line has been constructed by the French company Pomagalski.

For the first time in Bulgaria a special tourist admission system designed by the Austrian company Access is used in Chepelare. It prevents of skiers from congestion in the lift area during the rush hours of the day.

There is one 2-chair lift with total length of 2471 m. and vertical drop of 720 m. The total duration of the trip from bottom to the top is 17 minutes. The capacity is 600 persons per hour.
There is a small drag lift on the top too.
