Part of the road to Kom peak in the Blakan Mountain range will be repaired.

Another part of the road to Kom chalet nearby Berkovitsa is now being reconstructed. This is the only road that provides access to the peak by car. The money was provided by the Roads agency. The total investment for the reconstruction of the road is assessed on 165 thousand BGN. The municipal is also applying for another million and a half on the PHARE program. These funds will help for the whole reconstruction of the road to Kom chalet, which is a major tourist destination of Berkovitsa.
