Solemn ray and Rodopean bagpipes open the winter season in Chepelare

The official opening of the new winter season in the mountain resort of Chepelare takes place on the 21st of December in the newly opened Borika hotel. There will be a press conference in the conference hall of the hotel. A solemn ray accompanied by Rodopean bagpipe sounds and a holyday cocktail in Borika restaurant will mark the beginning of the new winter season 2007/08 in Chepelare. The event is organized by the society of the hotels and restaurants managers and the merchants – “Chepelare”, the Municipality of Chepelare and the “Social fund” foundation.

Meanwhile the ski pistes in ski centre Chepelare are well maintained and ready for the winter sports lovers. The lift facilities are operating and the snow cover in the resort is about 50 sm.
