The construction of the tourism complex under Kom peak starts. The total investment will be for over 2 million Euro, announced the mayor of Berkovitsa Milcho Docov. The project is prepared by “Kom 2016” Joint Stock Company- a joint company between a company owned by the municipal, the local school authority and “Glovebulgarstroy”. The municipal will take part in the project with 75 decares land, and the construction company will finance the project.
The complex includes hotels with 4500 beds and has to be completed by 2016. The already existing ski slopes will be developed and even more ski pistes will be constructed. The resort will offer a piste and range for biathlon. Five cable cars and one cabin lift will descend from the peak to Berkovtsa.
