BulgariaSki.com team went skiing to Kom for the weekend. The weather was just brilliant and the slope perfectly maintained. The sun was warming up the skiers and we all got sun tan.
Skiing in Kom site is perfect for beginners and intermediate. However if You are too good you will probably find it a bit boring. The site is perfect for family skiing as the slope is mild and child friendly.
There are small ski jumps for people to have fun. The t- bar and the slope are perfectly maintained and the ski teachers are extremely helpful and patient.

The nature is still virgin and well preserved. The lower parts of the slopes review unforgettable views towards the town of Berkovitsa.
A couple of tea rooms are offering comfort for the skiers to relax after the hard day on the slopes. Kom is definitely a site that worth to be visited. The snow cover in the site lasts from the beginning of December until the beginning of April.
The local authorities are now working over a project for development of the site. Hopefully this summer it will be ready and the construction works will start.
The plans foresee enlargement of the ski zone with up to 15 kilometres.
One of the most famous Bulgarian biathlons Pavlina Filipova was born in Berkovitsa and also plans to invest in the ski zone of the resort.
