The mayors of Bansko and Razlog, respectively Alexander Kravarov and Lyuben Tatarski, have united their efforts over the construction of an airport in the region. Bansko Builds 20 Million Euro Ski Center
The Bansko municipality (southwestern Bulgaria) has drafted a project for the construction of a ski center near Dobrinishte. Some 20 million euro will be spent on the realization of the idea - new ski facilities and ski runs will be built. The expected length of the ski tracks is 44 kilometers.

A night piste will be open nearby the Radomir chalet “Orlitsa”
An illuminated piste will be opened today nearby Radomir, announced the mayor Zlatko Stoychev.
The piste is 400 meters long and is situated nearby the local chalet “Orlitsa”. The drag is made by local craftsmen. Bulgarian Winter Resort Invests BGN 10 M in Infrastructure
Over the next year Bansko municipality will invest over BGN 10 M in the infrastructure of the town, mayor Alexandar Kravarov said at the opening of the new winter tourism season.
The mayor also revealed that the local municipality is planning the construction of an airport near the resort.
Over 200,000 tourists enjoyed their holiday in Bansko over the last summer season and another 500,000 spent their winter holiday...
