Ski base in the geographic center of Bulgaria
Over 3800 skiers will be able to take a holiday in the tourism site “Uzana” in a complex with over 2600 beds, together with the already existing 700 beds.
This is noted in the general construction of the resort complex Uzana nearby Gabrovo, approved by an expert council in the municipal. A public discussion of the project is abut to take place and the next step will be its approval...

Freeriders will ride the Rila screes
The competition is part of the “Week of the free spirit” from 3 to 12 of Februart. The Bulgarian Free ride Association organizes the event.
The price fund will be of 5000 BGN. The free riders will feel the thrill of skiing among the purest Bulgarian nature and the joy of the full freedom and lack of borders, said the initiators. Competitors from USA, Canada, Austria, Switzerland, France and Norway will compete together with the Bulgarian...

Englishmen and Irishmen Occupy Pamporovo
The English and the Irish are the most numerous tourists in Pamporovo winter resort, southern Bulgaria.
\"Pamporovo registered a growth of 30-40% of the organized holiday-making groups in this winter season,\" sources from the Association of the hotel-keepers - Pamporovo 21st Century, informed.
The number of the Bulgarian tourists in Pamporovo has decreased and this is most likely a follow-up of the hike in the prices of the ski passes....

Bulgarian Ski Runs Are the Best in Eastern Europe
"When it comes to comfortable conditions the Bulgarian ski resorts haven't caught up with the ones in the Swiss Alps, but they are among the best winter resorts in Eastern Europe," say experts from the Geo Saison German magazine. They have compared the pros and cons of the ski-runs, hotels, ski lifts and restaurants in all the former Eastern European countries.
