Strong Winter Season in Bulgaria
Seemingly unaware of the summer heat, Bulgaria’s developers are preparing for a strong winter season.
Bulgarian company Prima Invest BG has started the construction of a 15-million euro ski resort in Rila Mountain, which could take four years to complete, a local municipal official said.

Latino star Raul Paz, born in Cuba, landed in Sofia in a cap and glasses-on manner more appropriate to a tourist than to a celebrity as he is.
Paz, who lives in France, has come here to give the official opening of Jazz Festival Bansko 2006 kicking off with a latino fiesta on Tuesday.
The French-Cuban legend will perform hits of his latest album Revolucion recorded in the studios of Buena Vista Social Club in Havana.

Traditionally each year the first Sunday from August is the Rila Mountain celebrations Day. On August, 6th mountaineers from all over the country met on Mousala Peak to celebrate together. Over 300 lovers of Rila Mountain climbed the highest peak of the Balkan Mountains.
Amongst them were tourist organizations’ members from Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Doupnitsa and Velingrad. There were also visitors from Macedonia, Germany and Slovakia....
