Yulen, the company operating the skiing facilities of the local Bansko resort under a concession arrangement, said it has invested 3 mln levs to improve the ski runs for the new season which starts there officially on Dec 15.
Their total length is now 77 km It has added a new four-seat ski lift with an hourly capacity of 2,000 skiers and a new tow system with a capacity of 600 skiers pe hour.

The new owner of “Vitosha ski” announced a pleasant surprise for the new coming ski season: “All ski lifts on Vitosha can be used with one lift pass”. The winter season on Vitosha will be opened on 7th December 2007. All snow canons for artificial snow, which are installed on the Laleto slope are operating.
The ski slopes and equipment are now being prepared for the grand opening of the new season.
Please note that there is High Avalanche Danger on Malak Rezen part of the mountain.
