Bulgaria to allocate EUR 1m for world cup skiing events Dnevnik.bg, 03 Feb 2011, 09.55 AM Bulgaria will allocate slightly over BGN 2 million to finance the events of the men's alpine skiing World Cup that will take place in the mountain resort of Bansko, prime minister Boiko Borisov said on Tuesday. As much as BGN 1.95 million of the funds will be provided by the sports ministry, while the remaining BGN 100,000 will be extended by the ministry of energy and tourism. The sum will cover 40% of the the total budget earmarked for the event's organisation, which is estimated at BGN 5 million.
