Location: Orlovetz hotel is located in the centre of Pamporovo just 3 minutes walk from the ski bus stop and 2 minutes walking distance to Perelik Hotel. Both hotels are connected with a corridor and lifts are available, which is very convenient during the winter season.
Accommodation: Hotel Orlovetz is a ten-storey building, with 210 beds in 98 double rooms and 7 apartments. Every room is equipped with a telephone, a cable TV, a mini bar, a bathroom with a bath-tub, a telephone, a hair-drier, an individual electronic safe in all rooms and apartments. 24-hour room service and Wi-Fi access is available. There is an incredible view to the Rhodope Mountains from each room.
Wine & Dine:
The main restaurant comprises of 90 seats. The restaurant is preferred for organizing parties, karaoke nights, and prom’s night or just to have a nice dinner. There is a various menu with international cuisine as well as traditional Bulgarian dishes.
You can enjoy the nice atmosphere and to have your morning coffee or cocktail at the lobby bar. It consists of 42 seats.
The sky bar is mostly preferred for the breathtaking panoramic view. It is the perfect place for organizing private business meetings, private parties, VIP cocktails, dinners, etc.
The summer garden is located near the pool and can be reached also from outside the hotel – by the side stairs.
Spa & wellness: The SPA Center at the Orlovetz hotel offers steam bath, sauna, fitness, relax zone, indoor swimming pool with 30ºC warm water, hydromassage bath, whirlpool, Douche Vichy, solaria as well as 50 types of massages and body therapies.
Conference facilities: The hotel offers 4 meeting halls each with different capacity, some of which are located in the hotel "Perelik". Regardless of the season, passing between the two hotels is very convenient for the guests through a covered walkway.

Faultless experience throughout. Booking was easy and customer service prompt and patient in answering my questions. Nelly from Silky Holidays met us at the hotel and explained everything we needed to know. I would definitely book using Bulgaria Ski (Silky Holidays) again in the future.

Excellent local support through Nelly! This really made a difference. The hotel itself was not that good...I would rate it in Germany as a lower 4 star hotel. Room service/cleaning was pretty bad, but overall it was ok, when you compare pricing to other skiing regions in Europe (like Austria).
One disadvantage is the missing possibility to rent better skies.

We really liked our stay at Orlovets Hotel, Pamporova, and the service from BulgariaSki booking department was very good. The location of the hotel was perfect.
I would absolutely use this service again, it was exemplary. I got a bit worried about whether my booking had gone through, whether the price quoted for the room was correct, etc, and so I gave BulgariaSki a call and they were brilliant, really friendly and helpful. I'd like to say thanks for helping me book an amazing skiing holiday for me and my family.

Toilet was dirty when we moved in..
The heating in the room did not work and we had to move to the room next door...
The bedding sheets were charged only after the fifth night after our request to the staff to change it. They even looked surprised by this request.
The room was never hovered during our stay.

A big thank you to Diana at BulgariaSki for making our booking very easy, she was very patient when we kept changing things. Our holiday was superb, everything ran seamlessly from being collected from Sofia airport to the Ski Package (We were very fortunate to have had superb weather) Hope to see you next year!

Very poor quality of Orlovets ...

Very poor quality of Orlovets Hotel.
Quality of the breakfast very very low: Orange juice not existing only chemical orange color (we buy our own real orange juice), coffee quality just acceptable and all the meal were cold (it was a microwave at the diposal, now you understand)
First days for the dinner, no explanation on the food proposed (came some labels after the 3rd day)
You have to pay for all the drinks (including water !!! no tap water proposed)
Christmas diner, was served at a speed I have never seen, maybe to permit to the personel to have their own Christmas party. Starting time 8.30pm ending time maximum 10.00pm. And just for the fun... we have had 1 glass of white wine and 1 glass of red wine (scheduled in the menu) as I want to share the white and red wine with my girlfriend I ask to the waiter to split the wines in 2 glasses for each, the waiter came with 2 empty glasses which he put on the table, I have to perform the split of the wine by myself. Also schedule in the menu a glass of Champagne which we have not seen at all.
New year diner: was served in the piano bar room, as we were 2, we can imagine to have our table for us, it was not, we have to be seated wit other persons. Starting of the diner at 8.30pm, appetiser already on the table with wine and water (starting to be better !!!) then some Bulgarian typic dances (nice!!!) then starting to be bad, after 1 hour and 1/2 a plate is coming with wine leaves stuffed almost freezing then waiting until 11.00pm with nothing served, then we left as we imagine that we will not have anything else to eat. At this time almost 80% of the people have left for somewhere else.
Rooms
As you remember, you ask for a quite room in the hotel and it was ok for few days then as we have a comunicating door inside our room with the neighbour room, and new customer arrived we can hear all the discussion and so on through the door. I ask for an other room and we have to wait until the next day to move.

We stayed in the orlevetz hotel for 1 week. Its location is fantastic but i would rate it as a 3 star hotel. The pool was cold and too small. The staff were very nice except a porter who offered an exchange rate far below its value. The hotel is half-board which we found very convenient and good value. We would return again as a family.

My daughters and i visited Pamp 3 years ago and stayed in the Orlovertz, we are back this year for my daughters 18th birthday treat and we cant wait - Quality Hotel, Quality resort and quality skiing- We love it!! Happy 18th birthday Emily-Rose xx

My family and I stayed at this hotel last year, in January. We found the hotel (while clean and comfortable ) very bland and lacking in athmosphere. The staff were quite unfriendly. No fun at night except the poor guy in the piano bar who tried his best. we had to leave the hotel with the children every night for entertainmemt in the freezing cold. Next year its back to a different hotel.

The Orlovets is a very nice new modern hotel.The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean.The spa facilities are very good.For a 5 star hotel the food is very poor.They need to get this sorted very quickly.Bar staff and dining room waiters have been poorly trained.More often than not you do not get what you order.I hope they can get this sorted as it is a very nice hotel with stunning views.

Friends stayed here this year and we visited. Large airy rooms, squeaky clean, and calm and efficient staff. I'm certainly booking for next year. Its far better than any other hotel in the resort.

This is a lovely hotel but probably aimed at more older couples or groups rather than families and young people as there is not much atmosphere. The staff, the rooms and the general cleanliness are exceptional, the only thing that lets it down is the food. Breaklfast wasn't too bad but dinner was pretty poor. Definitely recommend using the sauna, steam and pool facilities and a full body massage for less than £20 was a great way to end the holiday.

Fantastic hotel location with great rooms & facilities, but that is where it ends. Some staff were friendly but the majority were ignorant & rude. The staff in the restaurant particularly need some training, they were far from efficient & definitely need to learn how to wait on guests properly-it was certainly not the level of service we expected from a 5star hotel. The food was ok, but not served Hot & not much variety from 1 day to the next. Certain breakfast items were not replenished after 9am even though breakfast was supposed to be served until 10am. We went down to the Spa in our dressingowns (provided in rooms) & after going in the Pool, Sauna & Steam room asked the staff if we could swap them for dry ones, they told us we had to return to our room in our wet robes-again, not what we expected of a 5star Hotel. There was a huge crack in our bedroom wall which we complained about because we could hear the next door guests quite clearly through it, unfortunately it took 3days & the intervention of our holiday rep before anything was done about it-I personally spoke to the manager about this & another problem & found her to be very unconcerned & unhelpful (she agreed to meet me at 9.30am but never showed up & didn't leave me any messages to explain why she couldn't make it). Overall we were very disappointed with the hotel & will not be staying there next year.

it was a great difference to the pamprovo hotel down the road. and a welcome releaf that there is a reason to return to such a freindly well run hotel.. Hope to see them again next year. your respectfully M.Morrissey Hotel Manager Ireland..

Stayed at the Orlovetz, due to a problem at the Pamprovo hotel, leagues better, fantastic hotel good food, very helpful staff, i would love to stay there again, i would never stay at the Pamprorovo hotel again after this.
