My self and my wife took a group of school children aged between 13 and 16 to pamporova. Non of the kids had skied before. We went with 'ski school pamporova' and they were fantastic. Our group were on green and blue runs by the third day. We would particularly like to recommend Spas the senior instructor for seasoned skiers and Teddy for the beginners. If you are thinking of taking a school group away to ski this is the place to go.

Me and a group of friends stayed at the Pamporovo Hotel in March2006, the Hotel was GREAT but food and staff not so good. This has not put us off because we have already booked up for next march but we are going to try another hotel, the Mugavits. Pamporovo is great for skiing, it was only my second time and i found it great for beginers, you get green and blue runs starting at the top of the mountain and by mid week they had us coming down red runs. I cant wait for March to come and get back on those slopes, there is 13 of use going this time and i know we are going to have a great time. We booked with Inghams both times and have found them very good. I would highly recommend Pamporovo, give it a go i think you will love it.

Returned from Pamporovo on 18/2/06 and had a fantastic week there. Stayed in appartments, Monastery 2, which where great, had a great pub/restaurant with log fire and extremely friendly staff. Good food, even if limited on choice from menue, they would try to get you what you wanted. Extremely nice people, minibus drivers in particular, even took us to Supermarket and waited for us. Skiing was magic! Had a superb instructor for the week, called MIMA, would not have felt as confident on the slopes without her! Well done, to her. Went on part of black runs half way through the week, from being only just on second week ever. Had half a week in Poland last, hardly any instructions, but MIMA put all that wright. She has the patience of a Saint!!This resort is definitely on my shopping list for next year, if not before then. the snow was outstanding, eating places along the slopes can be recommend, our local was the Bulgaria Pub, great service, food outstanding, especially the venison and wild boar dishes, definitely not out to rip you off, if you show appreciation for the local fare. Met great bunch of people, too.Hello to Paul, Finuala, John and Lucy as well as Beth, Max and Tim with Mollie. See you again next year, same place, same time! Love, Anne
