we staye in Pamporovo 2013 took our 3 kids to pamparovo and we loved it they went skiing for the 1st time the instructor we got for them was from the mirone ski school his name was Angelo and the guy who sorted the kids out for their boots and ski's was george they were great and really professional, the resort was great it snowed for 2 days solid, just a pity we had to come home, everything up there was amazing there is some where to eat or get a drink, our kids are only small, but the other piste's were really busy and just seeing the amount of people coming down was great, we had a great time the kids loved it i really can not say 1 bad thing about Pamporovo even Forest Nook where we stayed was amazing the chalet which belonged to a lady called Diane chalet 7 was beautiful will be going again next year no doubt ,

We have just got a miracle - 50 cm of new snow last two days! Well enough by the end of the season (unless rain ruins it all!)! If you need any advice or question - feel free to ask me or e-mail me!

Just reading Alans comment I have been very concerned about the lack of snow since December. Can you tell me where you got the information regarding Inghams sending people to other resorts as I am going there on the 17th with inghams, and would like to phone Inghams with some details and change to a different resort. Also has on-one else been offered a differnt resort. Thanks Carol

I have also just returned from Pamperovo and agree with the comments of Richard, the snow is non existant and if you try to ski it will be on ice. The Ski Instructors are looking forward to their summer jobs in Sunny Beach starting in April. Inghams have apparently cancelled bookings for the remainder of the season and given their clients an option of Bansko or Borovets, Balkan and the others should also consider this course of actions, as it is wrong to send people to Pamporovo as they know there is very limited snow coverage.

Just returned from Pamporovo today sunday 11 March 2007, snow terrible, walk from Ski Shack to lifts treacherous with ice, upper runs only worth skiiing up till 11.00 am one blue and part of red run available, Green run pisted over ice and very dangerous. The "Wall" best run available but only to advanced skiers. Ski Instructors say the season is over for them unless there is a miracle and they don't hold out much hope. Change to Bansko if you can as it apparently still has bettter snow coverage.

Hey everyone. Been to pamporovo before a few years back, goin again in half term :) This webcam is right at the bottom of the mountain, for a better one half way up the mountain go on http://www.plovdiv.meteo.bg/en/pamporovo.php - BUT go on in the morning or early afternoon as it is a live webcam so it will be dark as bulgaria are 3 hours ahead.
