Location: Situated amidst evergreen pine forests, hotel Finlandia is only 800 meters away from the lifts and ski runs and within walking distance from the noisy hustle and bustle of the resort centre. In the evenings there is a shuttle bus to the resort centre.
Accommodation: The hotel offers 82 spacious rooms and suites, most of them with balconies and bath-tubs. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and include cable TV, direct-dial telephone, minibar and hairdryer in bathroom. Accommodation is available in 20 twin rooms, 20 triple, 45 double Deluxe and 1 single rooms, 13 suites and 4 deluxe suites featuring an operating fireplace. Three of the rooms are fitted to meet the requirements of disabled people.
Rooms and apartments in detail: Single and double rooms: Cable/sat TV, telephone, mini-bar, bathroom. Extra bed is not available in the double rooms, some of them are without balcony, but there is a sleeping coach in the luxury double rooms. Apartments: Living room and bedroom (There is a mantelpiece in the luxury apartments ), cable/sat TV, telephone, mini bar, bathroom, hair-dryer, balcony.
Food and entertainment: The Classic Restaurant, seating 130 persons offers buffet breakfast and daily table d'hote menus in the evening. The Barbecue Restaurant is a more attractive dining area, which will be remembered for its charcoal-grilled specialties, lamb roast on a split and homemade bread, all freshly prepared. The national style Tavern offers typical music, delicious meals and famous wines. The guests can also enjoy light dishes and a variety of snacks in the Lobby-bar or dance the night away in the Nightclub.
Sports and leisure: An indoor swimming pool is located in the SPA and Wellness centre, which also comprises two jacuzzis, a small fitness area, sauna, solarium, steam bath and massage rooms with medical supervision. The wide range of sport facilities in the hotel include also table tennis, billiards and game room, guided walking tours in a summer.
The hotel has its own ski school with English and German speaking ski instructors and a ski room to rent ski equipment from and store your own skis. Children are also catered for in the ski kindergarten.
Other services: The hotel offers excellent meeting facilities featuring two large conference rooms (one up to 200 persons and one up to 100) with interpreters cabins, smaller meeting-rooms for 40 and 15 persons as well as a small Business Centre. Wireless internet is available in the lobby-bar.

stayed here from 8th-15th march 2009 really enjoyed the stay all the staff very helpfull, comfy rooms good facilites pool, sauna, hot tub, food was average the beer was good prefered zagorga beer, the slopes were brilliant going from red to blue to green if you want or just on one long run i would come back again in a shot .get it booked soon as i am .

We have just had the most fabulous skiing holiday in Pamporovo. The Findlandia hotel was lovely. Very spacious, comfortable and warm. The staff were friendly. I had heard mixed things about the food, but I actually enjoyed the food and found it very tastey. The puddings were lovely! Most of the staff are English speaking, although I tried to learn a few words to converse with. The bar area of the hotel is very comfortable and a friendly area. The hotel is definitely a bus ride from Ski Centre 2 (a couple of miles I think). When the brochure says 800m away from the resort I think they mean to the first lot of bars and the supermarket. Walking is not a good option because pavements are few and far between and the road is very slippery. The buses ran at regular intervals in the morning and late afternoon to and from the hotel. Taxi prices were expensive. The hotel has a shop that is reasonably priced. It sells smellies, liquer, water, ski jackets, gloves, hats, sweets, watches etc. There are two indoor pools - one was empty and the other lovely, although cold when first got in. After a couple of lengths it was great. Ski tuition is brilliant, I thoroughly recommend it. I am intermediate standard and really enjoyed the lessons. I hope you all have as good a time as I did. I shall probably return next year. Manda

stayed in finlandia jan 2008, a bit out of the way and definitely not within walking distance of the resort. That said hotel was exellent and the cheapest beer in the resort. The food was ok and warm,rooms clean and the apres ski exellent. We made lots of good friends and are all going back jan 09 to same hotel.

hotel is very good stayed Feb 07 and have re booked for Feb 08. Photographs on web site do not do hotel justice, in reality hotel is much more modern than pictured. Staff were excellent and facilities super. Food as is the case in most hotels in Bulgaria was ok plenty of variety and even fussy eaters will find something to eat. No hesitation in reccommending this hotel. I was part of a party of 11 4 adults and 7 children everyone had a ball.

We stayed in Finlandia Xmas 2007 and enjoyed it. Nice big room with double and single - travelled with hubby and daughter. Had the Gala dinner. Nice pool, and most people seem to congregate in reception apres ski.

We stayed here for Xmas 2006 and everything was fine. Lovely big room with a double bed and single bed. Small swimming pool, nice bar at reception, tv in room, food is buffet style and breakfast is very good. It will cost 15-20 lev for a taxi into town. The ski school bus picks up and drops off in the evening. Catherine

We have just visited (4th-11th Feb) and I thought the hotel was fantastic. The overall condition of the hotel itself was very clean and rooms were furnished nicely and looked after to the highest standard. The food, although a bit repititive, was lovely and the service was great. Only small set back was the lack of entertainment in the hotel. Well, it was actually inexistent. There was a night club which opens between 11-4...so if you're one of those super-humans who can live with no sleep then you're alright!!however the resort centre is only a small journey away and the hotel does provide transport here and back at a small cost. Overall,especially considering the price, the hotel is fantastic. I'd recommend to anyone who expects a quality hotel looked after to a top standard, in a quiet and beautiful area of the resort. Also I think pamporovo is amazing,a MUST place to visit for skiing.just watch out for the bell men...you'll understand when you get there!!

myself,my husband and 12 yr old son stayed here last year, very clean and lovely hotel . Nice and warm and staff are friendly. everything very cheap and the food was ok and always hot.Nice swimming pool available after a long days skiing and i haear the masseur was brilliant. Had loads of fun and although the hotel is a little out of the way the free bus is excellant or you can even walk. fully recommend this hotel.
