Location: Murgavets Grand Hotel is located in the centre of Pamporovo in the Rodope Mountain. The hotel is open to visitors all year round and offers excellent conditions for recreation, sports, tourism, business meetings, seminars and company events and celebrations.

Apartment: Each of the apartments offers living room and bedroom with mini-bar, satellite TV, radio, telephone, luxury bathroom with telephone and hair-dryer. The apartments are suitable for the accommodation of 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults.

VIP apartments are located on an upper floor, revealing beautiful panoramic view. Each apartment offers luxuriously furnished living room and bedroom, separated with a sliding door. The guests staying in a VIP apartment are offered a mini-bar, satellite TV, radio, telephone, luxury bathroom with telephone and hair-dryer. The apartments are suitable for the accommodation of 2 adults, in the bedroom, and 1 adult or 2 children on the extensible sofa in the living room.

Presidential apartments offer magnificent panoramic view of the ski-runs. Each of the apartments consists of spacious panoramic terrace, 2 bedrooms (mini-bar, satellite TV, radio, telephone); spacious living room (mini-bar, satellite TV, radio, telephone); 2 luxury WCs, one of which is equipped with a Jacuzzi and the other one with a shower-cabin, telephone and hair-dryer. The apartments may offer accommodation to a maximum of 4 adults + 2 children. An extensible sofa or a baby cot may be provided upon preliminary request.

Wine & dine:
The “Bulgarian Village” Barbecue will delight the fans of traditional Bulgarian cuisine and delicious Rhodopean dishes with home made dishes. The clients will be able to choose between home produced wine, plum brandy and a variety of brand drinks. The fascinating folklore program and unique Rhodopean music will add to the authentic atmosphere of the restaurant.

The main restaurant of the hotel is suitable for stylish cocktails, company or family celebrations, weddings.

There are lobby bar (70-80 seats) and night bar with nice music and pleasant atmosphere, as well as confectionery with panoramic view.

Conference centre: The Murgavets Grand Hotel offers a completely equipped 150-seat conference hall, which is convenient for the holding of organized business meetings, seminars and company celebrations.

We visited Hotel Murgavets over the New Year and enjoyed a great holiday. We had read some negative reviews of the hotel after we booked it, and were a little worried, but the hotel was clean, warm and comfortable, and compared to others we talked to we felt we had made the right choice in the place to stay. The rooms are adequate, perhaps to the standard of a Premier Inn, plenty large enough for two people. The beds were comfy, and there was extra bedding available. The bathroom, altho a little small was kept spotlessly clean, and the shower was great! There was always plenty of hot water, and the pressure helped to massage tired joints at the end of the day! The food was basic, but tasty. Dont go expecting 4* UK standards. Lots of sausage, eggs, salad, pork chops and some unidentifiable foods which were very tasty! Just be brave and give it a go! It was my birthday whilst we were there, and on our return from the slopes found a complimentary bottle of Champagne from the Management. The staff were friendly and helpful, altho it sometimes took a little time to explain our needs! The location was perfect, right in the centre of town, in alking distance of the best restaurants (Ocean Mar - great food, brilliant prices) and bars. We would happily return to Hotel Murgavets again.

Having spent a week there from 9 Feb 2008 to 16 Feb 2008, I offer the following advice. Although the hotel is of good quality, if you want any sleep at night get a room at the back of the hotel and on a high floor. The taxis at the front of the hotel pip their horns until about 3.00am and the disco in the basement turns out drunks on the lower floors until about 5.00am.

we are just back after our third year staying here ,we found this year the hotel has gone down big time ,we would not class it as 4 star .the food was always cold so we ended up going out to eat.they turned off the heat in the rooms every night and during the day which left us very cold,when we complained they didnt want to know,the recption had little or no english speaking people. we wont be back again.

Enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere in the dining rooms and lounges and you felt able to relax. There is plenty to occupy young children, with a disco and casino for the bigger kids! I'm already looking to rebook.

WE WENT TO PAMPOROVO FOR OUR FIRST SKI HOLIDAY.WELL WHAT CAN I SAY BUT I CARNT WAIT TO GO BACK 2007!WE STAYED AT THE HOTEL MURGAVETS AND LOVED IT SO CLEAN AND WARM .OUR ROOM WAS VERY COMFY AND ALL THE STAFF WERE REALLY NICE.THE SKIING WAS GREAT AND THE INSTRUCTOR PETER WAS VERY HELPFULL.FAB TIME ALL IN ALL.

We have just returned from our holiday in the Murgavets, we enjoyed our stay, excellent facilities, food a little odd at times. The resort was very quiet compared to when we visited in February 05, which was great on the slopes but very quiet Apres Ski. We preferred the Perelik hotel as the staff were friendlier and the food better. Slopes were excellent, very picturesque. Ski instructors are ace.
