The pick up from the airport ...

The pick up from the airport on arrival was fine but they did not arrange a pick up time for departure and I had to ring several times they failed to turn up on time so again I had to ring he gave another time then again failed to turn up when I rang agai he said he wasn't coming and to get a taxi it was 4am by the time we got a taxi and only just caught our flight this service was very poor.

I had cause to complain about diners smoking in a designated no smoking area and this was dealt with very badly, or indeed not at all. As a result we did not attend for any breakfasts paid for and on New Years eve, we wanted to cancel the dinner which they said was not possible and they put us on a table in the hotel reception. This resulted in poor service and certtainly no celebration.
All in all this ruined what should have been a very special evening and we ended up paying for another meal else where!

our family had a fantastic holiday staying at the Alpin Cabins in Borovets. We had all our meals in the hotel and the food was lovely. The accommodation was very clean, warm and of a high standard.All the staff were really helpful - and being right next to the slopes was made access really easy, and our teenagers could be extremely independent. It is based in the centre of the resort yet extremely quiet. would love to go again!

I would suggest this hotel because it is excellent,i been four times to borovets and this year is my fifth and always the alpin hotel good stuff and very clean hotel and villas

I stayed in the Hotel Alpin 10 Feb-17 Feb in a hotel room-very quiet location while being very close to 2 lifts and the centre of the resort.I used the Alpin ski hire which was situated right on the piste avoiding any walking in ski boots and no struggle with hordes of people trying to get their equipment at the same time.There was also a resident ski instructor if required. The rooms were excellent quality-100% better than a 4* hotel that I stayed in Courchevel1850! The food was varied and of good quality and all of the staff offered brilliant customer care.I would also recommend the massage after a days sking-very thorough and relaxing. I look forward to my next stay-this is the best hotel that I have stayed in.

Alpin Hotel We tried many different places but ended with our hotel restaurant. Would definitely recommend to choose this hotel – it’s really the best in Borovets.

My family of three and another 20 friends stayed in the ALPIN HOTEL BOROVETS it was very nice you got a good view a nice room and a good dining, The bars Alpin and restraunts Alpin were very good always do there best to help and lovly food the Alpin ski school was very good gone for six hours exploring the slopes teaching from basics to expert guide.

1. We stayed at The Alpin during half term in one of their apartments and on a B&B basis. The hotel was comfortable and well appointed and the staff friendly and helpful. . Also the bar is in the style (and title) of an English Pub. Room service daily when bins emptied and towels changed. I do recommend a massage and a jacuzzi after a hard days skiing .

We stayed at The Alpin during half term in one of their apartments and on a B&B basis. The hotel was comfortable and well appointed and the staff friendly and helpful. Room service daily when bins emptied and towels changed. Generally rooms were warm with adjustable radiators but on a couple of occasions the heat was not on so we came to the conclusion that it was centrally regulated. On 2 occasions we received unecessary phone calls one at midnight and the other at 4am when a large party were leaving. This was rather annoying! Also a rather large group were staying and they appeared to have no consideration for other guests allowing their children to charge up and down the stairs when returning in the evenings. The children also appeared to be sharing rooms and on a number of occasions woke us making more noise than my Cubs on the first night of Cub Camp!! I understand from other guests that reception asked them on a number of times to quieten down. The small bar in reception was unfortunately very, very smokey and not somewhere we would want to sit with the children. The Bar in the restaurant area seemed to be only available if you were eating which was a little bit of a shame as this was something we had looked forward to doing. Breakfast was served fresh and to order and with a reasonable choice but like most places wasn't steaming hot but certainly palatable. We took our own travel kettle and tea bags and were pleased to be able to make a cuppa first thing in the morning. We kept milk and soft drinks on the balcony. The hotel appear to be negotiating contracts with foreign travel agents who will book the hotel for the whole season and therefore may not be available for UK travellers in the future. More news of this in the spring/summertime. We viewed the new cabins which look very nice and are directly behind the hotel. They are planning to build some nore for next season. We had a very enjoyable holiday and will no doubt return.
