Accommodation: Flora Apartment complex is a new building with studios and one-bedroom apartments equipped with self-catering facilities. Studios are suitable for up to 2 adults; The one bedroom apartments can sleep up to 5 people. The apartments offer comfortably furnished bedroom and a cosy living room with folding sofa. All apartments offer fully fitted kitchenette with all modern appliances.

The reservation, transfer, driver were perfect! Only in Borovets (reception Flora apartments Daisy), they are not always informed right. The driver had the information were to get the key for our apartment. When we left, the reception didn't know anything. The same happened in 2011. Fortunately the driver was good informed!

Full details of bookings (twin / double rooms) must be passed on to the hotel otherwise your clients end up with rooms that are unsuitable. Fortunately the staff at Flora Apts were very friendly and responded to our request and managed to work out a solution. I understand that another group there at the same time as us has the same problem... I look forward to dealing with you again in the future.

My appartment was very small, my friends appartment was big. In my appartment, there were no plates, or glasses. When I asked to have some, a lady brought me some plates and said there is no glasses. There was no microwave, or toaster, or teapot in the room. How come I paid the full price and got a small room with no equipment?
In my appartment, the TV did not work. The internet did not work as well. I had to go to the lobby to connect to the internet. In my friends room, the TV worked and the internet worked as well. At reception, when I asked for assistance, no one wanted or could help.
The hotel Flora appartments put my family on floor 4 and my friends family on floor 5, and this is when the whole hotel was almost empty, there were lots of free rooms, and after I specifically asked to put us one near another.

This was one of our best winter holidays. BulgariaSki took an excellent care of our needs. The person I conatacted with was very polite, fast in his response and eager to satisfy our needs. The apartment at Flora section was very clean and spatious, we felt very much at home. Location is perfect, the main ski courts are across the street. And yes, the food in Borovec is great all over the place. We tried almost everything, but we warmly recommend the "Salamander" place for the excellent food and cosy atmosphere (by the fireplace) :))

I spoke with people in resort and they had much better prices on accomodation compared to what we paid, in fact people paind for holidays including flights, hotel-half board, ski rental etc etc and they paid cheaper than we did, so not the best value for money although found the apartments very likeable and with a better price would definitely return. The other problem i found personally was the rental snowboard was in a very bad state the edges were so blunt you couldn't cut anything with it let alone ICE so not really great when your learning to build up your confidence

On first arrival the hotel looked impressive. Check in however failed to have us as half board, luckily the rep sorted it out for us. We'd book an apartment thinking we could cook occasionally. No kettle, no plug for the sink but we did have a fridge. Apartment was very warm and we could control the temperature ourselves. Disappointed in the level of accommodation as this certainly isn't 4* UK more 2/3 stars. Always a smell of smoke in the corridors which can sometimes drift into the room. Rooms were clean and spacious just very tired looking. The double bed was equipped with a quilt that didn't quite reach the edges. We had a coverlet as well but that disappeared on the second day! The second bed was a metal action sofa bed with a very thin mattress. Unfortunately it wasnt easy to open up as we found out late on the second night when we had to call Reception to assist. The front of the sofa was all ripped through too many difficult attempts to operate the bed. We left it out for ease of use! One great aspect was housekeeping. The rooms were kept very clean and beds made everyday. The food is taken in the Irish Bar on the basement level and is certainly nothing to rave about. Plenty of salad but everything is lukewarm - we were warned about this but even still it was not an enjoyable experience. No drinks (not even water) provided in the evening! No atmosphere either. We ate a very quick breakfast in the morning and then ate in one of the numerous bars in the resort. Franco's, Black Tiger, Ice Angels all serve decent food and not too expensive either. Would recommend B&B only not half board. No hair dryer, kettle, iron, safety deposit box or air conditioning either even though these will listed as facilities. If you want basis, no frills, clean, warm B&B accommodation then Flora is great, anything more than you'll be disappointed.

We booked an appartment for 4 but it is actually a 1 bed room appartment with a absolutely not comfortable kind of sofa bed in the living room, putting pieces of sofa together, nothing like a mattress... The website says there is pool, sauna... indeed there is but you have to pay extra for it and the pool is really cold. Apart from this, it is quite cheap and very clean but a bit noisy.

Hotel is in the best position for both Gondola and local slopes. Nice warm modern hotel. The best thing is there is a path at the back of the hotel where you can ski straight onto the slope down to the gondola if you dont want to walk the 50 metres (we're lazy). Nicely situated for all shops and restaurants.

Having read other peoples comments on the hotel, we were a little aprehensive just what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the whole aspect. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was acceptable, but go early as the choice dwindles the later you eat. The room was fine and loads of HOT water and clean towels. The hotel is ideally positioned for all amenities throughout the resort. We would have no hesitation in choosing the Flora Hotel in the future.
