Borovets will open the new ski season on December 14. The highlight of this season is the race for the European Cup in alpine skiing for men, which will place Borovets back on the map of the international ski tournaments. The competition will be held on February 15 and 16 on the Popangelov ski slope.

Moreover, the very best of the Alpine skiing world will gather in the resort for the last training before the Olympics in Sochi.

Meanwhile the resort invested in improvements of the ski centre. Queues at the lifts this year will be significantly reduced and there will be a new system to facilitate transition to the lifts. Night skiing for adults will cost BGN 22.

One of the biggest innovation for the new season is the resort's newest modern attraction: the Borosport Snow Park, which is becoming a favorite place for experienced snowboarders and freestylers. The park has three difficulty levels and will also offer easier attractions, sutable for families.
