Location: Malina Holiday Village is situated in a venerable pine forest, about 2 km from the centre of Borovets ski resort, on an altitude of 1350 m above the see level, at the foot of the highest peak on the Balkans - Mousala peak (2925 m). Malina & Yagoda Holiday Villages are situated in the same area.
Accommodation: Holiday village "Malina" (Raspberry) operates all year round. It is a favorite vacation place for larger families and groups of friends. Guests can rely on traditional village comfort, privacy and tranquility.
The village complex offers 28 comfortable wooden bunk houses - Polish type. The accommodation is for maximum 6 people.
Each villa offers:
- Two bedrooms with one double and two single beds on the second floor;
- Living room with TV, wardrobe, seating area with sofa bed and one extra bed;
- Kitchen table with 6 chairs, stove, refrigerator and kitchen with sink. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary utensils;
- Bathroom with toilet and shower;
- Terrace with a bench.

Facilities: Atguests' disposal is Yagoda restaurant with 90 seats. The restaurant is situated 100 m from the Malina village. Mini-market “Malina” is a part of the complex, as well.

The location of the hotel ...

The location of the hotel and the surrounding area were very nice exactly as seen in the photos. We stay for six days. There wasn't even one day that someone passed to clean the rooms. The carpet was in a very bad and dirty condition. The towels were never changed and the beds were never maked up, and sheets never changed. Needles to add that they were so old. That even their original color was white in some areas were bez. Even though Borovetz is an area that I will visit again I will not recomend this hotel to any of my friends. To be honest on the other hand I would like to thank Stephan for his assistance.

Extremely unpleasant ...

Extremely unpleasant was the fact that I was required to pay 100% in advance including breakfast that was 5 Euro/day/person. Surprise, at the facility restaurant (Malina and Yagoda villas), anybody could buy cash the breakfast without any kind of reservation at the price of 7 leva = 3.5 Euro.
Breakfast was very poor, no open buffet, but only a plate with fried egg, fried salami, a bit of cheese and 1 tomato. Try to eat same breakfast for 8 consecutive days! Advice for everybody that goes to Malina and Yagoda and want breakfast: pay cash at site.
Also, there is no info, not even upon request, about ski pass prices.
