Location: Yagoda Holiday Village is situated in a venerable pine forest, 2 km from the centre of Borovets ski resort, on an altitude of 1350 m above the see level, at the foot of the highest peak on the Balkans - Mousala peak (2925 m). Malina & Yagoda Holiday Villages are situated in the same area.

Accomodation: The holiday village offers 40 Finnish-style chalets, some of them have saunas. The chalets can accommodate 2 - 4 persons. The Finnish chalets are situated amidst sunny meadows, surrounded by venerable fir threes.
Each villa offers cable television, minibar, private bathroom/toilet, terrace, as well as a kitchen with all necessary equipment.
Villa Facilities: At the village the tourists have at their disposal a 90 seats restaurant & a coffee-bar/ night club with 40 seats. There are also various food shops in the resort for those guests who prefer to cook their own food.
The complex provides volleyball, basketball and soccer sports grounds as well as table tennis and playgrounds for children.

We were very happy with the organisation of our entire trip to Bulgaria. Special mention of Martin Ninov who was outstanding in looking after every aspect of our reservation and answered my (many) questions promptly and in detail in a very professional and friendly way, an fantastic ambassador for Bulgaria. Our accommodation was lovely, very cosy. The self-catering aspect is limited due to the minimal cutlery, plates, utensils etc provided so we ate out. The location, although out of town is good and the shuttle service works well. The on-site restaurant is very good value and the food was excellent. I would recommend Yagoda 100% and would definitely go back in Winter or Summer. Thank you for a fabulous holiday.

The restaurant at Yagoda was poor. The buffet food was cold. Overall quality poor compared to other restaurants in Borovets. The shuttle bus service was disappointing with no transfers at the time we wanted in the evening (around 6pm when our young children were hungry). When we asked for a refund so that we could use taxis instead they were unwilling to give our money back. The boiler in the chalet was just above the toilet and I kept banging my head on it. Also the boiler was dangerous as the bottom had rusted away leaving a sharp edge which my head hit a number of times (on the second time I reported this it was taped up and made safe). The room was a smoking room which smelled unpleasant (we should have asked for a non smoking chalet (if these exist)).
