Bansko lies 160 km (including 120 km motorway) south of Sofia (or about two hours drive from Sofia Airport).

Accommodation: The Studios and the Apartments at Lucky Bansko Aparthotel are furnished luxuriously and stylish, with comfortable and practical furniture. We stayed at this hotel December 28th 2008 for 1 week and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the hotel was very clean and the furnishings, room and bathrooms lovely. There are a few channels on the T.V for the kids to watch but after a long day skiing we chilled out at the pool/spa which again was great. We had been to a beach holiday around 10 years ago and this hotel in Bulgarian standards is superb. We didnt originally book this hotel our holiday was changed 5 weeks before hand. We have 2 children 7 & 9 and thoroughly enjoyed our ski holiday - this standard of hotel was a bonus. The breakfast & meals were lovely although as in any European restraunt we have been to the hot food is always luke warm, other than that which seems to be the norm, we had no complaints whatsoever

Was there in April 2008. It's very pleasant, the rooms are big and modern, esp. the bathroom is spacious and bright, very clean with a nice pool and sauna area. Free internet in the bar and very nice all around. Definitely a place I would recommend and plan to visit again.

Preis-Leistung ist optimal. Freundliches Personal. Sehr sauber. Grosse freundliche Zimmer. Nettes Spa-Center. Sauna und Pool angenehm. Freier Internetzugang. Insgesamt empfehlenswert. Auch im Sommer.
