Mall to be Built in Bansko Ski Resort in Pirin Mountain
Today 11th June, the Forton International consultative company announced the start of the constraction works for Mall in Bansko. The investment of the project is estiomated to cost 5 million EUR. The building will be constracted on a total area of 60,000 sq m and will be the first one of a kind in the territory of Bansko's municipality and the Pirin Mountain. The retail center is sited next to the lower end of the gondola lift and the Kempinski Grand Arena hotel and should open for business in mid-2008. The 6,000 sq m mall will have 2 underground and 4 above ground levels. Around 30 shops will occupy 4 of the building's levels with the top floor earmarked for a restaurant and a casino. The mall will also have a bank office and a food court. Bansko Privilege Resort said tenant interest indicates that 90% of the premises are immediately rentable. The rent rates for the retail inventory range from 17 to 35 euro/sq m. Real estate consultants Forton International have the exclusive agency contract for Mall Bansko.

    when the mall opens it will be a great plus for bansko,ihave heard nearly all the units have been rented..the building itself is in local stone and wood and will compliment the surrounding area
