Skiing in Bansko will be available from 01 December The ski centre in Bansko will be opened from 01 December 2010, announced 24 hours daily. 80 Brand new snow cannons are installed in the ski zone and the total number of snow cannons for artificial snow is 230, covering 90% of the territory of the ski zone. Two brand new modern ski lifts will service skiers this winter. 6 and 4 seat lift on Banderishka polyana and the Plateau. 4 interactive illuminating maps will inform for the working ski slopes, temperature ans avalanche danger. They will be positioned at the gondola lift station, Banderishka polyana, Shiligarnika and Todorka.

Hope they can fulfil that promise. I find the weather forecast with constant hot winds from the South somewhat worrying.
