Location: St. Ivan Rilski Hotel Spa & Apartments is an all seasons residential and holiday complex, located in Bansko ski resort. The hotel is located 5 minutes to the ski lift by car.

Accommodation: St. Ivan Rilski Apartments include 4 residential buildings. The complex offers 5 single rooms, 52 double rooms, 46 double rooms with separate beds, 4 maisonettes with panoramic view to the Pirin mountain, 22 studio apartments, located in the apartment houses behind the hotel, 70 family stylish apartments, which combine in a unique way home coziness with luxurious comfort.

All apartments have satellite TV, phone, mini-bar, Internet access, kitchen area with all facilities, balcony.

Wine and Dine:
The lobby bar is the place in the hotel, designed for meetings. Its windows show a magnificent view of Pirin mountain. It can accommodate 80 people and offers a vast selection of alcoholic beverages. The lobby bar also offers soft drinks, cocktails, fresh juices, light snacks and desserts.

The modern “Moderato” restaurant follows the concept of the famous restaurant of the same name, located in Sofia. This is one of the few places in Bansko, offering good European cuisine with Mediterranean accents. The menu of the restaurant includes also exquisite Bulgarian cuisine. Special attention is paid to the healthy meals. The wine list is another thing that distinguishes the restaurant with specific style and high class.

The “Moderato” restaurant in the „St. Ivan Rilski” SPA Hotel has two rooms with a total capacity of 200 seats in the in-doors part. During the warm months of the year there are 30 more seats, placed on a sunny terrace. The restaurant is very appropriate for company cocktails, private parties and weddings.

Those, who invariably connect Bansko with the taverns, typical for this region, and traditional Bulgarian meals, will be greeted with a smile and warm hospitality at the “Chanove” Tavern. The Tavern of „St. Ivan Rilski” SPA Hotel is vast, having a fireplace and a wine cellar, and can accommodate 200 people.

Conference facilities: „St. Ivan Rilski” SPA Hotel offers excellent opportunities for the organization of congresses, seminars, business forums, conferences, corporate presentations and trainings. The guests can use three multifunctional conference rooms which can be combined in a single one, with a capacity of up to 150 seats. All three rooms rely on natural light and are equipped with multimedia, flipchart, sound system, screen, telephone, air-conditioning for individual temperature adjustment, Wi-Fi. The conference centre of the hotel offers also a conference bar with 20 seats.

Am petrecut 7 zile intr-un apartament de tip duplex (maisonette), in perioada 15-22 ian.2011. In aceasta perioada, turistii au fost din Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia si Rep. Moldova. Si acest lucru "se vede" la mese, la SPA, in tot hotelul. ASPECT GENERAL: Apartamentul declarat cu vedere la Pirin nu are vedere de loc, geamurile fiind sub acoperis, nu are balcon... desi este cel mai scump spatiu de cazare din hotel. Mobilierul ieftin, patul OK. Sunt 2 LCD-TV, cate unul pe fiecare nivel, dar sunt modificate astfel incat nu poti cupla un laptop sau alt semnal extern. SERVICII: In baia de la primul nivel (living) la fiecare utilizare a cazii aparea o scurgere masiva de apa pe sub cada, care - bineinteles - nu s-a rezolvat pe toata perioada sederii. Lenjeria s-a schimbat o singura data in cele 7 zile, prosoapele zilnic, halatele de baie niciodata. Caloriferele functionau dupa un program redus. Cand am semnalat aceasta problema la receptie, raspunsul a fost ca sunt comandate de la Sofia (!?) - unde este sediul central al companiei, ca ei nu pot face nimc, dar pot sa-mi ofere un radiator! Cel mai interesant este la SPA unde primesti un singur prosop, pentru al doilea trebuie sa platesti (2 Leva). In aceste conditii, turistii aflati la primul contact cu un SPA si in lipsa unor instructiuni scrise privind "Codul SPA" intra in saune fara prosoape lasandu-si toata transpiratia pe banchete.... Majoritatea intra si cu papucii in saune, dar deh... asa se comporta prima generatie care vede un SPA. Piscina cam rece, paturi la piscina doar 10, ocupate tot timpul, zona de relaxare la SPA este "o jale" Sala de fitness este in sala piscinei (!), foarte inghesuita, nimeni nu pare a fi auzit de tinuta pentru sport. Totii copii si mamele lor se joaca pe biciclete si banda de alergare, in costum de baie si fara pantofi de sport. Cel mai interesant este ca in toata zona nu exista un "amarat" de dozator de apa. Probabil ca este prea mare costul apei si al paharelor de plastic. Am primit recomandarea sa merg, in halat (!), la barul de zi sa-mi cumpar apa. MESE: Mic Dejun: relativ OK, similar cu orice alt hotel de 4 stele din Bansko, Borovets, etc. Exceptie face cafeaua (dintr-un fel de dozator) care pare a fi nechezol (pentru cunoscatori...) Dinner-ul tip bufet este extrem de slab si nu merita tariful de 10 Euro / pers. Ceva salate cu multa maioneza, branza vegetala, 2 supe / ciorbe si doar 3 feluri principale cu urme vagi de carne si mult sos, care se termina in primele 5 minute si nu am vazut sa fie recompletate. Este adevarat am fost intr-o singura seara. Se poate manca decent la "Mehana" de la subsolul (-1), cu cca 10 Euro / pers, 2 servicii, fara alcool. RECOMANDAREA noastra: la un tarif cu 30 % mai mare puteti sta la Lucky Bansko...

I have just returned home after staying in one of the double bedroom apartments. The apartment was of an excellent standard and the hotel was every bit as good as the 5 star Kempinski Hotel that I stayed in last year. The facilities, food and staff were excellent and I will definitely be returning to Bansko and staying at the St. Ivan Rilski during the coming ski season.
