05 OCTOBER – DAY OF BANSKO
Bansko mountain resort in the Pirin Mountain celebrates its official holiday today. The holiday is marked at the date of the announcement of the Balkan war in 1912, when the town was liberated from ottoman rule by the band of Hristo Chernopeev.
Numerous cultural events will take place in the resort. The program includes:
- 6:00 PM Concert by ensemble “Pirin” on Nikola Vaptsarov square.
- 8:00 PM Cockteil in Park Hotel Gardenia.
- 5.30 PM – art exhibition and presentation of a book by Konstantin Ikonomov.
- 7:00 PM – Indonesian evening – “Nikola Vaptsarov” community centre.
