for the last 2 years in as row ive benn at bansko 07 and 08 this must be the best year by, there more snow its colder plus im going again in feb

Wheres the snow?!?!? & why is this the only webcam thats working? I know it is snowing, so hopefully we will start to see it on here soon! So excited! :o)

With all the talk of snow and the season starting 2 weeks early why is the cam still showing last wednesday? I hope it has not melted already? I need to see the slopes ! !

I am going to Bansko in January - February 2008 to ski with my family and hope that there will be snow there! We only get to see it as little as once a year, so it is really special! I was wondering if anyone knew what the round-looking building is? Anyway, have fun on your holidays skiiers and snowboarders!

i was checking the weather in basko and i looked to see the weather on your list for 1st jan 07 when i was last there. you show alot of snow which was not there so like to know were you got it from. i was there from 30th dec until 4th jan 07 there was no snow.

We stayed at the hotel Mura in Bankso from 22nd to 29th January. The hotel itself was excellent and a few of the restaurants were of a good standard but I would have to say the majority of meals we ate were poor. The snow conditions at the start of the week was sketchy at best which was similar to many European resorts this season. However when the snow did come later in the week, the service and organisation on the slopes was just plain awful. There were lift closures with no explanation, slope closures even though the conditions were wonderful. Overall the cheapness of the holiday just about outweighed the bad points, but only just. With a bit more organisation and savvy about the resort it could have been a fantastic holiday. I would definitely consider going back but only in about 2-3 years.

just got back to wales after skiing in bansko for the week. I have to say it was an amazing experience and im guuted to be back home in wales!!! bansko is a lovely place for skiing and i hope to visit some time soon!! thank you to our ski instructor ALEX he was fantastic!!
