With the finish of skiing season 2004-2005 Bansko Municipality has started fixing the roads in the resort, which were destroyed during the winter because of the heavy construction works going on in the resort. It is known that the resort of Bansko is under a massive investment process, with a brand new holiday area growing just opposite the Gondola lift, now known as Gramadeto. The majority of brand new hotels and holiday apartment blocks are developed there. This will be the new, luxury part of the resort. Bansko Municiplaity has planned to make brand new tarmac roads this summer, but the main road now passing through the resort and raching the Gondola will be just repaired, as the csntruction works will continue for the next couple of years.
